Student work

The projects here are examples of my student work from the University of Cincinnati’s College of DAAP (Design, Art, Architecture, & Planning) - Industrial Design - Product Track. All work was created between Sep. 2009 - Apr. 2014.

medtronic insulin pump

The purpose of this project was to design an insulin pump for Type 1 Diabetics for the Medtronic brand with an expected market release date of 4-6 years (as of 2013); make choices that will attract a new generation of users while still satisfying the needs and being familiar to the current users; and, develop a family of form for the insulin pump, the continuous glucose monitor (CGM), and the pump clip.

fashion illustration

These drawing sets were created during a fashion illustration course. The work focuses on achieving the texture and pattern of a diverse set of fabrics only using one medium - AD Marker on paper. Some illustrations were drawn from a live model in 2-minute, 5-minute, and 10-minute increments between poses, while others were not drawn live and are intended to show a connected fashion line.

Glyphic chair

The Glyphic Chair is an exercise in creating a full-scale, working prototype. The chair is based off of Egyptian hieroglyphics. Acrylic bending, painting, welding, and assembly were skills learned from this project.
